I’m a bit annoyed by how the blog has showed up originally and might change it if I can. I don’t know yet if I will. I find more reason after another to hate the new blogger and do want to do a YouTube video about it while putting that video in one of my blogs as well. You’ll see as I share all of the other blogs what they are like. I’m wanting the background and format to be most similar to the CSI: Cyber blog as would any other potential blogs on shows in the franchise. You already have the link to that.
Of
course, it is worth noting that this blog isn’t something that I might be good
at as I suck at writing recaps on mystery shows. I tend to miss names which is
the biggest of all the problems, especially since one of them will be the
killer or criminal.
Anyways,
I have already stated some about my other blogs and how they affect this one. I
will often be giving my Survivor blog the priority and given it posts on the
date that it airs before putting this blog on Sundays. We’ll see if that works
or not. Here’s a link to my Survivor blog. There will be some posts on
Wednesdays in the future.
Survivor
blog- https://adamdeckersurvivor.blogspot.com
The
first part has a bird on a camera. The bird is named Elvis. Perhaps the bird
means that we are supposed to tweet about this. A man comes to kill this other
person in his place, but gets hurt himself instead. We then see a woman arrive at
a crime scene. Jim is the person that was attacked and has the dead body there.
The person there didn’t know who Jim was and with me away from the show for so
long, I’m not going to remember who all is who. I’m more focused on actors now
and not the characters that they played. Jim talks about the case to the
current team.
All
of the serial numbers on the money are close together. A kidnapper named Lucky
seems to be the person behind this. It seems that the person who is dead now is
a hit man. We then see a place set on fire.
Another
group of CSIs see a different crime scene while the others are tied up at this
one. We then get to the crime scene montage as they go through the case having
found a murder weapon. They are pretty sure about this at least. Sara then
talks to Jim who is now blind. And yet he did so well in the fight. Maybe
that’s why the bird is there to be the eyes that he doesn’t have any more.
Sara talks to Maxine, the new leader in charge. People think that Sara will return to the job here since she returned to Las Vegas from San Diego. I guess that CSI: San Diego could be a future show. They find a head of a person they were looking for and a note that says: Jim Brass was just the beginning.
The
second part has someone confirming that the victim in the head is who they
think that it is for real. Hugo, an ME, talks to Sara about the case. Sara
points out that Jim is just retired and not dead. There was an unhealthy brain
in this dead person that was full of pomegranate. People are confused that Sara
left for a man. David is brought up when Sara is discussed. Not every young
mind is in trouble. The arson might have been used to cover up something else.
A woman is shown kidnapped in the trunk of a car.
The
third part has more going on with the cases at hand. I missed part of it. Some
think that a man named Danny might have done bad things. They could only find
people with a clean record and partial finger prints. Sara discussed why she
left her job at CSI. After another music montage of whatnot (maybe the YouTube
channel the cussing channel should do videos of these), we find more info on
the case. We also go back to Jim who has normal eyes, but still can’t see
despite his different eyes from earlier in the same episode, talking to Sara
and they don’t have leads on the case, being back to square one.
The
fourth part has them looking for a suspect at Freemont street trying to find
the killer of the dead officer. There is a pawn shop case as too much seems to
be going on in this episode. Maxine talks to Sara. They seem to have no
reservations with her being brought in for this case although she isn’t
officially back yet. They talk some about phenotypes and how they lead to a
likely suspect. An arrow might have killed the person and that explains why no
murder weapon was found since it burned up in the fire. The CSI talks to a
woman named Becky and she appears to be the killer of the arson related case.
Sara
talks to a person named Bill. She admits to calling people as she talks to Bill
and wants to find a woman who is missing. She goes after the suspect and tells
others about the person who needs caught. He gets in a car and gets away.
The
fifth part has people finding the kidnapped woman and there is a note there
that they decipher. They talk to Bill. He mentions that someone who wrote the
note is someone that he liked. They find a storage place that David has that he
never had mentioned. Sara thinks that David is being framed for a crime. They
have to deal with the evidence at hand. If David is charged, that could put all
of the criminals that he had helped put away back out on the streets. Jim and
Sara talk to each other and it is finally revealed in the last scene that Gil
is now there helping.
On
the next CSI: Vegas, people wonder just how well they may know David. Surely
they aren’t going to turn him into a villain after all this time he spent on
the show. Would they really ruin his character just for a dramatic twist? We’ll
see how long his story arc lasts on the show and what it would be. I have the
feeling that a trial might be part of the storyline. And David is confirmed to
return to the show as a regular cast member, even though he wasn’t in this
episode. He’ll have to appear now.
I
think that this is a good way to start the franchise again and I look forward
to this series. I like how we got enough of the new characters while not being
too focused on the old ones, although we should have seen more of Gil than just
the last scene. It works for people who aren’t fans of the franchise while
having a lot in there for the people who are fans of it. I’ll like seeing what
happens and I’ll be back with these blog posts for the whole planned series.
For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
