Season 2 Episode 7

With this being the first blog that I created after the reformat of blogger, I’ve noticed what I call a dumbness regarding blog archives. All of the ones that I did before the change are the way that I like. But it seems that this one has the way of me going to find the old posts still possible, just not as good as I would like as it wasn’t the same way that I did or could do the others. I’m not even sure if what I’m saying makes sense or that I could explain it better.

Since this might be the best time for it, I’m going to mention the Thursday shows that I watch right now. Both Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy are having their midseason finales tonight. I’ll mention the other ABC show and why I don’t watch it later. I watch this show (obviously) in addition to Young Sheldon and Ghosts. I also watch both Law and Order: SVU and Law and Order: Organized Crime. I do not watch Law and Order. Ironic, right? I seems that way to me.

Continuing on through science rock, one of the more notable songs that they did that I’m familiar with is Electricity, Electricity. This explains quite easily what it is about and I don’t have to go into much detail about it.

There is a three part set of videos that I’m going to show you relating to the end of Ocarina of Time. The first is the boss Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time. While I want to call the back and forth thing you do with the enemy light ball, it is actually called dead man’s volley. What a name for that.

In the last version of Fields of Gold that I’m sharing, I’m sharing the Family Guy version of it that is a brief parody of how hard it is and can be to understand the musician Sting when he does songs.

And continuing on with the occasional original versions of the songs that I want to share, I’m sharing the original version of When You Believe that apparently has a different interlude at one point.

The next song in Songs from the Heart is The Coast of Galicia which is a pretty good song for a violin solo. It also has the great Irish appeal that you’d come to expect from the group Celtic Woman.

In this Madam Secretary blog post, I mention some about Christmas episodes of shows that I watch on DVD. While I’m watching two different seasons of NCIS right now, both of them have Christmas episodes that will force me to stop watching until I can see them. I will likely not be able to finish either of them before this Christmas, especially due to reasons I’ll explain in my Survivor blog. I also reference The Good Wife character Eli Gold.

I won’t be doing an acrostic poem this time around as I realize that I should go to an election countdown instead. I am currently only going to mention countdowns to general elections in this blog right now. And that will include elections in odd numbered years. The 2025 general election will be 1,089 days away as of 11-10-2022. I won’t be starting the countdown to the 2027 election until after the 2023 one has happened. But I can start the countdown to the 2028 one since the 2022 ones are now over. That’s part of my OCD.

Movie update: On Saturday, I watched Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted with commentary. I replaced it with Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves from Monday’s list. I couldn’t go with the next one to be moved as that is an s choice and there already is an s choice on Saturday’s list. On Sunday, I didn’t watch a movie as I had other plans for lunch as usual. On Tuesday, I watched nothing even though The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was sort of rolled as a potential thing to watch. On Wednesday, I watched Ice Age. I couldn’t replace it with something from Monday’s list so I replaced it with Ice Age: The Meltdown. I was still watching that movie on Thursday which made it more of a poor choice as now I couldn’t see a movie on Thursday’s list.

The first part has another crime scene being investigated. I may miss a lot of the start of some of these shows due to watching other channels before switching to this one with CBS starting shows a bit earlier than other ones. There is a footprint by the door. It was a house that burned down with tied up people inside it. There was someone on the camera that looks like Bigfoot to them. It is probably the killer in disguise or some sort of protection. It was a father and son who were killed.

The second part has more of the Bigfoot angle being investigated for the obvious to be revealed: it is a person in a costume. Maxine seems to have issues still mentally. I think that this should be focused on some more since it is a good thing to cover. It seems like it will be. David had plastic on his head. His father may have been forced to watch that. It seems like a toxic substance was released. It is radioactive. It seems like the fire at the crime scene had lots of starting points. The team recreates what might have been the cause of the fire. There may be more to find at the crime scene.

The third part has skin cells revealed on the diamonds after Maxine researches more of what is going on. The son may have been kidnapped first with his father being lured there. And someone may have gotten in there without being seen by cameras. Allie does not want to give Josh relationship advice. Was he asking for sure? I couldn’t tell. Maxine seems to have forgotten that she was supposed to meet her son at some point in time. There was asbestos found that wasn’t part of the house. There was a man named Carlos Ray that was seen filming a video that makes him a suspect. Despite his breathing issues, he still tries to run from the police. They catch him.

The fourth part has Carlos saying that he blames Painter, the dead father, for his impending death since he has five months to live. He says that he isn’t responsible for Painter’s death and only ran because he looked guilty. Beau talks to Maxine’s son. Beau mentions Maxine’s assault to him. There is more wondering about why the disguise was picked out. It may have been harder than they realized.

It seems that Jocelyn, the woman that Josh was fucking, had a relationship with a woman that she lived with for two years. This woman is someone that Jocelyn had seen recently. This drama is something that Allie witnesses. She wants to let Carlos go, but seems to find proof that he might really be responsible. They think that there were two people leaving the house at once which is why there was a Bigfoot disguise. His son might be an accomplice.

The fifth part has the son of Carlos being interrogated. They try to get this man to wager for bail. He gives them what they want. Carlos wants his son to get out of more of this trouble, but he can’t. Carlos reveals why he killed Painter’s son as well as just killing Painter. Allie reveals to Josh that she heard the conversation that he had with Jocelyn. She tells him to make amends. They do.

Ryan, the son of Maxine, talks to him more about what happened to her, something he didn’t know which was clear earlier. He wants to stay there and help take care of her for a while since she insists on working still. She falls asleep as he wanted to get take out. There are no scenes from next time so there might not be an episode next week that’s new. There better not be a new one on Thanksgiving. So that could mean that there are two weeks off before it returns. Or not. We’ll see. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 6

While I have started to share blog posts from my Madam Secretary blog in this blog now, the strangest thing has happened. That blog has a post called Episode from 11-24-2019. That post now has a warning put on it. I have no idea why. You’d think that I would have learned such a thing when they told me about why there is a warning. I mean, do parents punish their kids without telling them why? I sure hope not. I will try to keep you up to date with any developments with that, unless, of course, blogger doesn’t want me to.

Continuing on with more of Science Rock, the next one that they did was on the body called Do the Circulation. It seems like a good thing to cover in an educational way like a lot of what they did and covered in that song edutainment series. I may even cover two Schoolhouse Rock parodies at some point in time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_22fZdI_vA

Now when it comes to the bosses of Ocarina of Time, there is one that is covered more so in the storyline than any other one that are just simply enemies that must be defeated at the end of each dungeon (that excludes the final boss). This one, the boss of the spirit temple, is Twinrova. There is the first stage before they combine into a new form. This would be among the first of the overly used fire/ice bosses in the history of video games. I wonder why they gain halos and go up when they die since they are clearly villains.

Since I included a version of Fields of Gold in the previous post, then I might as well include the original here for you to watch if you care. I didn’t realize that there were a lot of changes with the Celtic Woman version’s lyrics.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLVq0IAzh1A

Speaking about Celtic Woman, if I continue to post songs of theirs from their concert called Songs from the Heart, the next one that I should share is When You Believe. I will get to more of their songs until the end, potentially. This will include the two songs that are on YouTube, but oddly enough, not in the concert DVD that they were filmed for. I’m not sure what’s up with that.

In this old Madam Secretary blog post of mine, I talk about being a procrastinator. I’ll get to more on that later. I also talk about the standard plot for episodes of shows, like this one and Scorpion. I plan to do a “recap” of both shows on my YouTube channel of every episode of that show in one, short video. Maybe you’ll see what I mean if I ever get around to doing that. I didn’t understand a lot of this episode. I don’t think that I ever said what was going on in Iran.

https://adamdeckermadamsecretaryblog.blogspot.com/2017/04/episode-from-11-27-2016.html

Now if you had read my Madam Secretary blog, you would have known that when I covered that show’s last season, I included an acrostic poem in each of the posts of that season. With at least one post of the blog, if not the whole blog, now in danger, I will now do an acrostic poem in this blog for the rest of this season. I will not be doing a poem in every post of this blog as I might instead do an election countdown instead. Also note that I will rotate through them in the order of country, state, and city. If you did not know, an acrostic poem has the first letter of each line spelling something out in addition to not having a rhyme scheme.

Really a problem to the free world

Ukraine should prevail against them

Since they are known for spreading misinformation

Such a country should fail in a war

If they win, the world will be worse

And if they lose, Russia will get much needed comeuppance

Movie update: On Saturday, I watched Pleasantville. I replaced it with The Princess Bride. On Sunday, I had other plans for lunch and couldn’t see a movie again. On Monday, I watched American Dreamz. And it was irreplaceable as in I could not replace it with any other movie. This will dissolve Monday’s list into the other five lists. I’m glad that there will be one less movie list to keep track of after so long. As Lizzo would say, it’s about damn time.

The remaining five Monday choices in order of seniority of them moving to another list is crossover tape, nature documentaries, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Johnny English Reborn with commentary.

On Tuesday, I was busy with watching shows on my laptop so I didn’t see a movie then. On Wednesday, I watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I replaced that with crossover tape from Monday’s list. On Thursday, I watched The Great Race. I replaced it with Nature Documentaries from Monday’s list.

The first part has a dead body being found to the song Joy to the World. This is not the Christmas song by the same name. The CSI team is called into this TikTok star’s murder. They find a note that says I’m so sorry.

The second part has the team talking about the case going on. He is in ice and that is both a blessing and a curse. It’s a shame that they have to deal with such a cold case. Eh? Eh? Anyways, Dario is the name of the dead person. They talk to interviewee #1, a woman, who felt that this death was bad. Interviewee #2 was upset that she couldn’t get revenge on him first since he cheated on her. Interviewee #3 was a sue chief. (Is that the right sue? Maybe I’ll have to look it up for sure.) His knifes were there. Maybe he is an escape goat.

Both Allie and Chris continue staying in the cold location to solve the case. They have to in order to do it. Someone said that Jack would let a person know the outcome of something. That’s better than not knowing Jack. Better to let Jack know you. They are calling Dario the iceman. He wrote the apology message. There is DNA found, but only on the already existing three suspects. Isn’t three suspects an overused Matlock plot? I forget just how many episodes had that. In one of them, it was all of them who did the murder in the end.

The third part has two women being brought in that Dario had sex with. Only one of them knew about the other one. There might be a reason why the sue chief was that way. Dario starts to smell like almonds. It means that he was poisoned with cyanide. It will take three days to know what might be going on. Did this show just admit to how long things should take in reality? They talk to a man about it who says that things were a bit upset before they made up.

Maxine confuses two people with their jobs. She might be under stress still because of being attacked. And she might have lack of sleep as well. I know what that’s like. I spend time blogging instead of getting proper shut eye. I didn’t even get my nap in today that I like. Anyway, Chris being on his phone actually lead to something good in the end happening. It seems that the cyanide in his system wouldn’t have killed him. Both Maxine and Chris show Allie a video someone made of an animated dead Dario dancing around looking like how he appeared when he actually died.

The fourth part has them finding where the image of Dario came from. They find out why and when this guy died. It was just after eating his last meal. This supper did not consist of unleavened bread or wine. The message was actually messy. The team goes and finds people in confusion at the restaurant. They learn that a worker there named Albert was nicknamed Messy. He is the killer. But who is Albert? I must have missed this interaction with him.

The fifth part has it revealed that the Italian guy who claimed that he didn’t have that well a knowledge into how the English language worked may have been taking since he may be English. He changed the message on the freezer. And this person might have also done the dead Dario dance by the looks of it. The police arrive to where this man, really named Peter, lives. He runs upon seeing the police. Normally, the one who runs is guilty of something, just not the main crime. This isn’t the case and it is much later into the episode. Peter decides to kill himself when cornered by police.

The team seeks to give comfort to one of the cooks there. They explain more of what had happened. Maxine seeks to go to sleep while using a song to comfort himself. And that’s it for this episode with no idea what Catherine was doing.

On the next CSI: Vegas, there is murder in a fire as a person is lit on fire and then they just let him burn. Does they mean multiple killers? Or our first gender non-binary villain might be appearing in this show? I guess we’ll see, but it is likely not the second one and probably just one person who is the killer. Or is it? For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 16

Since I mentioned the show 9-1-1 in a previous post, I might as well mention the Monday shows that I watch. This will cover things that aire...
