Season 2 Episode 12

When The Golden Globes aired on a Tuesday this year, it made me think about the shows that I watch on Tuesdays. I was watching New Amsterdam until it ended. I had thought that I missed the ending of La Brea, but that it still on for a while, now in double timeslots, airing back to back episodes. It might be a bit of a surprise that it was renewed, but there’s likely not going to be any more beyond that. I would watch Night Court, but I am seeing too much on Tuesdays right now already.

What else am I watching? Well, I’m seeing 9-1-1: Lone Star on FOX, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International on CBS, and The Rookie, Will Trent, and The Rookie: Feds on ABC. What’s terrible is that once the CW brings back some shows that I like, I’ll have four things to watch in the same timeslot. What’s even worse is that I can watch four things all at once.

Since the last Science Rock song was about the skeletal system, it makes sense to share the song that helped inspire it that uses part of the song at some point. That song is called Dem Dry Bones.

The next song that they did in Science Rock was A Victim of Gravity. I’m sharing that now. It seems that I was prepared enough for some of these posts to not know what I was sharing once I eventually published them. I am now working on five different posts of this blog at once and will be starting a sixth soon as I work to publish this and the next three over the next three days for reasons that will be clear soon.

Going to the next dungeon in The Wind Waker and the sub-boss from it, we get to Mothula from Forbidden Woods. It seems a fairly easy enemy. It gets even easier to beat later in the game with other weapons, such as the one you get in this room.

Since there are more songs to share from Trolls, the next one that I’m doing is the True Colors lyric video from Trolls. I haven’t shared any of their songs yet, so this will be the first one that I’m doing based on sharing the Celtic Woman version of this.

Speaking of Celtic Woman, their next song from Songs from the Heart is Galway Bay. I like it as it is a good Irish song and they are often criticized for not being Irish enough in the end. It is one of their most Irish songs that they have performed.

There were more Jimmy Fallon things to share and I’ve been gone from this blog too long. Not only that, but I would have had a long gap even without the hiatus since it had been so long since new episodes aired. This video that I’m sharing of him from his show relates to football raps.

I should warn you that this paragraph and a bit later are a bit political. I forget why I wanted to share it. This video explains Biden versus Trump in regards to covid deaths that have happened. In case anyone was thinking that Biden was worse because there have been more covid deaths since he took office, this video debunks that.

Football team ranking update: Anyways, when it comes to ranking the teams that are numbers 21-23 in the ranking, I had to wait until a New Year’s Day game was played in order to complete this ranking. The Giants are the lowest, having lost to both the Seahawks and the Jets. When the Seahawks and the Jets played, the Seahawks beat the Jets. This leaves the ranking as 21- Seahawks, 22- Jets, and 23- Giants.

Were any Nobel Peace Prize winners a US secretary of state? Yes. The following all were: Elihu Root, Frank Billings Kellogg, Cordell Hull, George Catlett Marshall Jr., and Henry Kissinger. Thank you, Wikipedia.

In the following old post from my Madam Secretary blog, I talk about being behind on what I have to watch on tape. To think, in 2020, I was once one roll away from taking that choice off of my list for a bit. Now, I have 8 tapes to watch and episodes of shows that have ended on it like 2 of Charmed, 1 of Dynasty, and 1 of Tom Swift. I have the feeling that I will see political commercials for the 2023 elections before I’m done with the tapes from before the 2022 elections.

WARNING! Political section

I also talk about doing bets. I bet my cousin over the 2020 presidential election and he has yet to pay up. He’s just proving to me that Republicans aren’t men of their words. I also did change my mind about wanting Pence as president. He’s such a boob. Also, who would Trump’s 2024 running mate be? I’m almost surprised he hasn’t said yet. I would think that he would pick Kristi Noem before anyone else. But we may never know for sure.

I’m going to forgo doing an acrostic poem again to do an election countdown to 1-3-2025. I will keep this section apolitical at times since a bunch of people from both parties are likely to leave office then. The only problem is a lot of them are running for another office so we won’t know if they’ll win that other office or not. Still, it would seem that Democratic Michigan senator Debbie Stabenow is the only senator or Congressperson who is not running for another office. I can mention more later as time goes on and mention the countdowns to 1-3-2027 and 1-3-2029 in the future. It is also know that Mike Braun is running for governor of Indiana so it is known that he won’t be taking a potential new office on 1-3-2025.

Still, I better get to how many days away that date will be from the time that you see this blog post. I posted the amount of time on facebook on 1-24-2023. I have also decided that I will include the countdown to when Jeff Landry is out of office in this blog only if he doesn’t win the office that he’s running for now. Anyways, as of the day that this episode aired, the date of 1-3-2025 is 701 days away.

End political section

Movie update: On Friday, I watched a home video. This could be the precursor to a new list, but I can’t start one until Tuesday’s list is dissolved. Meanwhile, my longer home videos can’t be watched again until I’m done watching the shorter home videos. On Saturday, I watched Finding Nemo and had to replace it with Finding Dory instead of something from Tuesday’s list. On Sunday, I watched The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I replaced that with The Emperor’s New Groove from Tuesday’s list. On Wednesday, I watched Bean: the Movie. I replaced that with Fireproof from Tuesday’s list. While I was still finishing that movie on Thursday, I still watched something from Thursday’s list: Mr. Bean’s Holiday. I replaced that with It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie.

On Saturday, I watched Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I replaced that with The National Parks. I won’t be able to finish moving Tuesday’s list around unless I either finish with an s choice on most of the lists or watch something from Sunday’s list. I was not able to see a choice from Sunday’s list this week due to other plans for lunch. I had the chance to see a movie from a scab list. I decided to do it even though I wound up rolling one of the choices that I wasn’t wanting to, Toy Story 4 from Thursday’s list. I wasn’t wanting to roll it since I’m watching it with Spanish subtitles. I only started it on Sunday. I continued it on Monday. I finished it then. I replaced it with Tower Heist. Here is Everything Great about Toy Story 4.

On Wednesday, I watched The Empire Strikes Back. I replaced that with Return of the Jedi. On Thursday, I watched none of Thursday’s movies as I was still finishing Star Wars. On Saturday, I watched Finding Dory. I replaced that with Downton Abbey: A New Era. On Sunday, I watched Liar Liar. I replaced that with the last thing that I could move from Tuesday’s old list: Stuart Little. Tuesday’s list is now dissolved. Yay! This means that I can add new lists now. I will when it works out.

On Wednesday, I watched The Return of the Jedi. I was still finishing that on Thursday so I was not able to see any of Thursday’s movies. I replaced that with The Force Awakens. I will not yet know when I will start a list on Friday, but plan to watch the two Celtic Woman Christmas concerts first on that day of the week.

The first part starts with two women hanging out. But a noise has to be investigated. Both of the women start coughing. One of them winds up in the hospital being read to by a third woman. This woman in the hospital wakes up. Catherine then takes a girl into this place. Is her daughter a kid again? She is pineapple years old. Maxine talks to Roxy some about an old case regarding an old case in Catherine’s tenure. This happened four years ago. The woman woke up and said that her sister’s death was not an accident. Catherine leaves this child with other members of the team.

People take out the exhumed body or something else that smells. Maybe now I should bring up that song that I hate about that smell. Maxine thinks that it isn’t coming from just her body. Was it chemicals used or murder? The crime scene is nearly four years old. Some people on the team talk to people about the coma one of them just went through. She thinks that her sister and herself were poisoned. Someone had broke into the salon. Catherine thinks that it isn’t too late to find the truth.

The second part has Catherine taking a child to see a crime scene. Why would you do that? Who do you think that you are: Temperance Brennan? That is her name, right? The one on Bones? The child is taken away, perhaps to be with The Mandalorian. There is a lot of formaldehyde. There are ingredients in shampoo that aren’t supposed to be there. Could it have been the brother in-law of Mimi who she thinks was there with him? Sasha is the person who died. He deals with a lot of pickleball. (Is that supposed to be two words?) He is an instructor of that.

Hannah is the name of the kid. Chris takes her away. There are different footprints that they found there. At least six were found. A woman is also interrogated about some of what went on that Saturday as those are busy days. A gay man is also there since I guess one is legally required to work at a hair salon. After all, that’s what Coby Archa does or used to. A woman of Asian descent is also talked to. This is a woman named Nikki, I believe. This is an addition to a man named Nick and Nicole as well. I think that the first woman is Nicole and the gay guy is Nick.

A black woman had cut off some of Nikki’s hair since she had an affair. We then get to a biracial man who also worked there at the time. After all of these interviews where I’m already guessing that multiple ones of them will be involved, we get to team seeing that a ventilation system was shut down meaning that the sisters were certain to be killed because of this.

The third part has people looking for the right shoes and some are ruled out for being the wrong size. It’s almost a curse to have this on tape as I can rewatch parts of this episode as much as I want to. William, Nikki, and Nicole are the wrong sizes. William is the son of Sasha. It is not a giant who has these shoes. Maybe it’s a jet? Wait. This is Vegas. Maybe it’s a raider. Ken (Sasha’s husband, the pickle ball guy), Heather (Sasha’s best friend, although I forget which woman that is), and Nick, who was fired, are the three main suspects who are left. Three suspects? Is this a classic Matlock episode two-parter? I wonder what continuity error will save the day.

The killer appears to be going bald. They have hair loss medication. Would you really want to spend money on that? Are you afraid that someone will mistake you as a Hollywood villain? What about a comedy person like Howie Mandel? Or a badass action star like Bruce Willis? Mimi gives her testimony and why she is convinced that it was Nick and it was a grey face person with a snout. If I had to guess, it probably was a mask that someone was wearing. And it probably wasn’t Nick. It wasn’t a dream like Maxine first thought as she found a photo of this person.

The fourth part has everything about the night she went into a coma adding up in the end. But is this really Ken? They might deal with forensic shadow puppets. Maybe that will be a show on Adult Swim. Or FX. Or Comedy Central. Or Netflix. The best bet right now would be Paramount+. I’ll write it if no one else will. A suspect is brought in, but let go due to current lack of evidence. What caused this grey man? There could be talons. Wasn’t Talon the protagonist of The Outpost? I was going to write a bit about that when I start blogging about Blood versus Water again.

Beau goes through a lot of what might be going on and is annoyed that Josh always has to get the last word. You know, when someone does that to me like on facebook, I tend to not give them what they want and don’t give them any response. Why prove them right? As long as it isn’t a shut the fuck up kind of thing, I’m going to be quiet if they either ask me to or insist that I need the last word. Anyways, a piece of plastic seems to be the key to this all.

The fifth part has Catherine talking some about taking a break from a while to be there for her daughter Lindsay and granddaughter Hannah. Lindsay is upset at Catherine, needless to say. Everything comes together with gum revealing that Heather is the killer. Basically, she was selling fake shampoo and pocketing the difference. She was likely going to be caught, but tried repeating the phrase that Ken killed your sister to Mimi. But it turns out that the team was able to catch her.

The episode ends with Catherine offering to take her family to Hawaii. Maybe there will be a spin-off there. I mean, CBS can’t let NCIS: Hawaii be their only show set and filmed there with NBC getting the benefits from Magnum P.I. in the future. I have no idea if ABC is making use of their former Lost set, first given to Off the Map and then to Last Resort.

On the next CSI: Vegas, there is a crime written on a card with a sick mind behind all of these stories. I wouldn’t call Anthony Zuiker’s mind sick. And it is far better that he writes crime shows than actually do this in reality. I don’t know what else there is to say this time so I’ll be back whenever with the next episode. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 16

Since I mentioned the show 9-1-1 in a previous post, I might as well mention the Monday shows that I watch. This will cover things that aire...
