Season 2 Episode 7

With this being the first blog that I created after the reformat of blogger, I’ve noticed what I call a dumbness regarding blog archives. All of the ones that I did before the change are the way that I like. But it seems that this one has the way of me going to find the old posts still possible, just not as good as I would like as it wasn’t the same way that I did or could do the others. I’m not even sure if what I’m saying makes sense or that I could explain it better.

Since this might be the best time for it, I’m going to mention the Thursday shows that I watch right now. Both Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy are having their midseason finales tonight. I’ll mention the other ABC show and why I don’t watch it later. I watch this show (obviously) in addition to Young Sheldon and Ghosts. I also watch both Law and Order: SVU and Law and Order: Organized Crime. I do not watch Law and Order. Ironic, right? I seems that way to me.

Continuing on through science rock, one of the more notable songs that they did that I’m familiar with is Electricity, Electricity. This explains quite easily what it is about and I don’t have to go into much detail about it.

There is a three part set of videos that I’m going to show you relating to the end of Ocarina of Time. The first is the boss Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time. While I want to call the back and forth thing you do with the enemy light ball, it is actually called dead man’s volley. What a name for that.

https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Dead_Man%27s_Volley

In the last version of Fields of Gold that I’m sharing, I’m sharing the Family Guy version of it that is a brief parody of how hard it is and can be to understand the musician Sting when he does songs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwAhuEVuM7c

And continuing on with the occasional original versions of the songs that I want to share, I’m sharing the original version of When You Believe that apparently has a different interlude at one point.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NieC8KA0EvI

The next song in Songs from the Heart is The Coast of Galicia which is a pretty good song for a violin solo. It also has the great Irish appeal that you’d come to expect from the group Celtic Woman.

In this Madam Secretary blog post, I mention some about Christmas episodes of shows that I watch on DVD. While I’m watching two different seasons of NCIS right now, both of them have Christmas episodes that will force me to stop watching until I can see them. I will likely not be able to finish either of them before this Christmas, especially due to reasons I’ll explain in my Survivor blog. I also reference The Good Wife character Eli Gold.

https://adamdeckermadamsecretaryblog.blogspot.com/2017/04/episode-from-12-11-2016.html

I won’t be doing an acrostic poem this time around as I realize that I should go to an election countdown instead. I am currently only going to mention countdowns to general elections in this blog right now. And that will include elections in odd numbered years. The 2025 general election will be 1,089 days away as of 11-10-2022. I won’t be starting the countdown to the 2027 election until after the 2023 one has happened. But I can start the countdown to the 2028 one since the 2022 ones are now over. That’s part of my OCD.

Movie update: On Saturday, I watched Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted with commentary. I replaced it with Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves from Monday’s list. I couldn’t go with the next one to be moved as that is an s choice and there already is an s choice on Saturday’s list. On Sunday, I didn’t watch a movie as I had other plans for lunch as usual. On Tuesday, I watched nothing even though The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was sort of rolled as a potential thing to watch. On Wednesday, I watched Ice Age. I couldn’t replace it with something from Monday’s list so I replaced it with Ice Age: The Meltdown. I was still watching that movie on Thursday which made it more of a poor choice as now I couldn’t see a movie on Thursday’s list.

The first part has another crime scene being investigated. I may miss a lot of the start of some of these shows due to watching other channels before switching to this one with CBS starting shows a bit earlier than other ones. There is a footprint by the door. It was a house that burned down with tied up people inside it. There was someone on the camera that looks like Bigfoot to them. It is probably the killer in disguise or some sort of protection. It was a father and son who were killed.

The second part has more of the Bigfoot angle being investigated for the obvious to be revealed: it is a person in a costume. Maxine seems to have issues still mentally. I think that this should be focused on some more since it is a good thing to cover. It seems like it will be. David had plastic on his head. His father may have been forced to watch that. It seems like a toxic substance was released. It is radioactive. It seems like the fire at the crime scene had lots of starting points. The team recreates what might have been the cause of the fire. There may be more to find at the crime scene.

The third part has skin cells revealed on the diamonds after Maxine researches more of what is going on. The son may have been kidnapped first with his father being lured there. And someone may have gotten in there without being seen by cameras. Allie does not want to give Josh relationship advice. Was he asking for sure? I couldn’t tell. Maxine seems to have forgotten that she was supposed to meet her son at some point in time. There was asbestos found that wasn’t part of the house. There was a man named Carlos Ray that was seen filming a video that makes him a suspect. Despite his breathing issues, he still tries to run from the police. They catch him.

The fourth part has Carlos saying that he blames Painter, the dead father, for his impending death since he has five months to live. He says that he isn’t responsible for Painter’s death and only ran because he looked guilty. Beau talks to Maxine’s son. Beau mentions Maxine’s assault to him. There is more wondering about why the disguise was picked out. It may have been harder than they realized.

It seems that Jocelyn, the woman that Josh was fucking, had a relationship with a woman that she lived with for two years. This woman is someone that Jocelyn had seen recently. This drama is something that Allie witnesses. She wants to let Carlos go, but seems to find proof that he might really be responsible. They think that there were two people leaving the house at once which is why there was a Bigfoot disguise. His son might be an accomplice.

The fifth part has the son of Carlos being interrogated. They try to get this man to wager for bail. He gives them what they want. Carlos wants his son to get out of more of this trouble, but he can’t. Carlos reveals why he killed Painter’s son as well as just killing Painter. Allie reveals to Josh that she heard the conversation that he had with Jocelyn. She tells him to make amends. They do.

Ryan, the son of Maxine, talks to him more about what happened to her, something he didn’t know which was clear earlier. He wants to stay there and help take care of her for a while since she insists on working still. She falls asleep as he wanted to get take out. There are no scenes from next time so there might not be an episode next week that’s new. There better not be a new one on Thanksgiving. So that could mean that there are two weeks off before it returns. Or not. We’ll see. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 6

While I have started to share blog posts from my Madam Secretary blog in this blog now, the strangest thing has happened. That blog has a post called Episode from 11-24-2019. That post now has a warning put on it. I have no idea why. You’d think that I would have learned such a thing when they told me about why there is a warning. I mean, do parents punish their kids without telling them why? I sure hope not. I will try to keep you up to date with any developments with that, unless, of course, blogger doesn’t want me to.

Continuing on with more of Science Rock, the next one that they did was on the body called Do the Circulation. It seems like a good thing to cover in an educational way like a lot of what they did and covered in that song edutainment series. I may even cover two Schoolhouse Rock parodies at some point in time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_22fZdI_vA

Now when it comes to the bosses of Ocarina of Time, there is one that is covered more so in the storyline than any other one that are just simply enemies that must be defeated at the end of each dungeon (that excludes the final boss). This one, the boss of the spirit temple, is Twinrova. There is the first stage before they combine into a new form. This would be among the first of the overly used fire/ice bosses in the history of video games. I wonder why they gain halos and go up when they die since they are clearly villains.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be8Gx6ev1vU

Since I included a version of Fields of Gold in the previous post, then I might as well include the original here for you to watch if you care. I didn’t realize that there were a lot of changes with the Celtic Woman version’s lyrics.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLVq0IAzh1A

Speaking about Celtic Woman, if I continue to post songs of theirs from their concert called Songs from the Heart, the next one that I should share is When You Believe. I will get to more of their songs until the end, potentially. This will include the two songs that are on YouTube, but oddly enough, not in the concert DVD that they were filmed for. I’m not sure what’s up with that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMXg2FOJPgY

In this old Madam Secretary blog post of mine, I talk about being a procrastinator. I’ll get to more on that later. I also talk about the standard plot for episodes of shows, like this one and Scorpion. I plan to do a “recap” of both shows on my YouTube channel of every episode of that show in one, short video. Maybe you’ll see what I mean if I ever get around to doing that. I didn’t understand a lot of this episode. I don’t think that I ever said what was going on in Iran.

https://adamdeckermadamsecretaryblog.blogspot.com/2017/04/episode-from-11-27-2016.html

Now if you had read my Madam Secretary blog, you would have known that when I covered that show’s last season, I included an acrostic poem in each of the posts of that season. With at least one post of the blog, if not the whole blog, now in danger, I will now do an acrostic poem in this blog for the rest of this season. I will not be doing a poem in every post of this blog as I might instead do an election countdown instead. Also note that I will rotate through them in the order of country, state, and city. If you did not know, an acrostic poem has the first letter of each line spelling something out in addition to not having a rhyme scheme.

Really a problem to the free world

Ukraine should prevail against them

Since they are known for spreading misinformation

Such a country should fail in a war

If they win, the world will be worse

And if they lose, Russia will get much needed comeuppance

Movie update: On Saturday, I watched Pleasantville. I replaced it with The Princess Bride. On Sunday, I had other plans for lunch and couldn’t see a movie again. On Monday, I watched American Dreamz. And it was irreplaceable as in I could not replace it with any other movie. This will dissolve Monday’s list into the other five lists. I’m glad that there will be one less movie list to keep track of after so long. As Lizzo would say, it’s about damn time.

The remaining five Monday choices in order of seniority of them moving to another list is crossover tape, nature documentaries, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Johnny English Reborn with commentary.

On Tuesday, I was busy with watching shows on my laptop so I didn’t see a movie then. On Wednesday, I watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I replaced that with crossover tape from Monday’s list. On Thursday, I watched The Great Race. I replaced it with Nature Documentaries from Monday’s list.

The first part has a dead body being found to the song Joy to the World. This is not the Christmas song by the same name. The CSI team is called into this TikTok star’s murder. They find a note that says I’m so sorry.

The second part has the team talking about the case going on. He is in ice and that is both a blessing and a curse. It’s a shame that they have to deal with such a cold case. Eh? Eh? Anyways, Dario is the name of the dead person. They talk to interviewee #1, a woman, who felt that this death was bad. Interviewee #2 was upset that she couldn’t get revenge on him first since he cheated on her. Interviewee #3 was a sue chief. (Is that the right sue? Maybe I’ll have to look it up for sure.) His knifes were there. Maybe he is an escape goat.

Both Allie and Chris continue staying in the cold location to solve the case. They have to in order to do it. Someone said that Jack would let a person know the outcome of something. That’s better than not knowing Jack. Better to let Jack know you. They are calling Dario the iceman. He wrote the apology message. There is DNA found, but only on the already existing three suspects. Isn’t three suspects an overused Matlock plot? I forget just how many episodes had that. In one of them, it was all of them who did the murder in the end.

The third part has two women being brought in that Dario had sex with. Only one of them knew about the other one. There might be a reason why the sue chief was that way. Dario starts to smell like almonds. It means that he was poisoned with cyanide. It will take three days to know what might be going on. Did this show just admit to how long things should take in reality? They talk to a man about it who says that things were a bit upset before they made up.

Maxine confuses two people with their jobs. She might be under stress still because of being attacked. And she might have lack of sleep as well. I know what that’s like. I spend time blogging instead of getting proper shut eye. I didn’t even get my nap in today that I like. Anyway, Chris being on his phone actually lead to something good in the end happening. It seems that the cyanide in his system wouldn’t have killed him. Both Maxine and Chris show Allie a video someone made of an animated dead Dario dancing around looking like how he appeared when he actually died.

The fourth part has them finding where the image of Dario came from. They find out why and when this guy died. It was just after eating his last meal. This supper did not consist of unleavened bread or wine. The message was actually messy. The team goes and finds people in confusion at the restaurant. They learn that a worker there named Albert was nicknamed Messy. He is the killer. But who is Albert? I must have missed this interaction with him.

The fifth part has it revealed that the Italian guy who claimed that he didn’t have that well a knowledge into how the English language worked may have been taking since he may be English. He changed the message on the freezer. And this person might have also done the dead Dario dance by the looks of it. The police arrive to where this man, really named Peter, lives. He runs upon seeing the police. Normally, the one who runs is guilty of something, just not the main crime. This isn’t the case and it is much later into the episode. Peter decides to kill himself when cornered by police.

The team seeks to give comfort to one of the cooks there. They explain more of what had happened. Maxine seeks to go to sleep while using a song to comfort himself. And that’s it for this episode with no idea what Catherine was doing.

On the next CSI: Vegas, there is murder in a fire as a person is lit on fire and then they just let him burn. Does they mean multiple killers? Or our first gender non-binary villain might be appearing in this show? I guess we’ll see, but it is likely not the second one and probably just one person who is the killer. Or is it? For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 5

Since I don’t think that I have yet mentioned it in this blog, note that there will likely be an upcoming potential blog on Without a Trace and then other parts of the CSI franchise coming at some point in the future. I don’t yet know when or just how long in the future it will be when it happens. If I’m blogging about this show still, I will post a link to that here.

Continuing on to more of Schoolhouse Rock, we now have the Science Rock section to cover. This one that is next is The Body Machine. It starts this section and I’ll get to the rest of them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jh2-g3ftCaE

The boss of the Shadow Temple is Bongo Bongo. I’m covering it next, although it seems as if fandom is convinced that it should be the last temple covered. It isn’t. That is why I’m covering this now and getting to the next part covered. It seems as if the player is a noob as they almost die. But this is intentional on fandom’s part in order to show what happens when you mess up.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWqBvJP3fao

I forget how I mentioned it, but the song Otherworld from the very beginning and near the end of Final Fantasy X was mentioned in the past blog post. I know that it was not covered in the episode itself.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9dEu29RY44

As for what was in the episode, they did the song Field of Gold. I thought that I would now share the Celtic Woman version of that song. I will now be sharing a song of theirs from their concert Songs from the Heart until I reach the end of it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXPqCv9dV6g

In this old Madam Secretary blog post, I talk about some of the things that I wish the show covered, like the judiciary. They never covered that as instead of was more or less a different international crisis in most episodes. I talk a bit about one of the old showrunners regarding the NCIS franchise. I might have to go through the history of that at some point, but won’t in this week’s post. I now have a hatred of Son of Zorn due to its cancellation on major cliffhangers.

I also mention about not knowing stuff about football like why refs make the gestures they do. I also talk about my problem with not renting movies which is a lot of people’s problems given just how little video rental stores remain. There is still one that I can use. I also offer some minor thoughts on Venezuela in this post. I’ll talk about it more in the future.

https://adamdeckermadamsecretaryblog.blogspot.com/2017/04/episode-from-11-20-2016.html

Movie update: On Saturday, I watched The Sound of Music. I replaced that with a movie that I’m borrowing from a co-worker called Sponge out of Water which is a Spongebob Squarepants movie. On Sunday, different plans for lunch meant that I could not watch a movie that day. But it worked out better in regards to other plans of mine that I had. On Monday, I had to watch laptop shows instead of a movie. On Tuesday, I watched One Night with the King. I was still finishing that on Wednesday. I replaced it with Stuart Little. On Thursday, I was once again watching shows on my laptop instead of a movie.

The first part has professors and others like them being honored. But bad things start to happen with a possible biological attack happening. Meanwhile, Catherine goes to a fantasy room to lure someone there to talk to her. A woman is dead as we continue to look for the missing Grace. But what happened to the weird scene from the end of the first season? Are we ever going back to that? Is that going to be like Ray Langston? I’m still pissed by that lack of real resolution.

The team arrives at the scene with more going on the next day. There is a lot of vomit as they are in suits. A dead body was found with them wondering what all went on and why so many people are affected.

The second part has more of the scene investigated. The fish are alive which seems to imply that this is airborne. The team goes to the hospital and talk to a lot of the people here who can’t all remember what all went on. A professor named Morrow had left the party early. He becomes an obvious suspect. He is investigated by the team. He claims to have eaten everything at the party.

One of the MEs thinks that it could just be what amounts to a collective panic attack by the group instead of something real. But that might not be the case. One of the team members wants to talk to other survivors. Beau somehow knows a whole lot about certain types of party and is no longer invited to the garden party, I mean, Allie’s birthday party. What I believe are feds show up to take control of the crime scene. This is an obvious problem, of course.

The third part has the team trying to figure out what to do. Since the rats that weren’t taken by the feds died at the same time at the humans, they are used to figure out what all went on regarding the case.

There is more going on with the Grace and the stripper (I think) named Monica wants to give certain evidence including the dress she is currently wearing. Alie is able to figure out that some type of poisoning is going on. They go back to the crime scene. Are they allowed to do this? There is a lot of investigating going on at this place. One of these plugs is not like the other. Maybe it’s a pretender? They find what appears to be a weapon of some sort. I’m confused.

The fourth part has this weapon being brought into the lab. They mention what could be going on. Is this a real thing? I guess that it could be? I don’t know if I buy this exactly. They need to test how it works. Is this like Havana Syndrome? It is because of the electromagnets that are causing this to happen. They think that one person was the target. It looks like the obvious suspect from earlier could be guilty? But it might not be Professor Morrow as Maxine notices a guy on crutches. She thinks that this man is faking and is the killer.

The fifth part has more investigations into the lead. Meanwhile, Catherine’s lead into a man named Cosgrove doesn’t appear to go anywhere as he left for somewhere. Maybe he will be in the place of the next CSI spinoff? It seems that Luther, whoever that is, is brought in with the weapon and was faking being a patient so that he would seem like he one of them. He is the killer as he wanted his main victim stopped. Catherine winds up meeting Monica again at the strip club no less. There are leads in the case which will be talked about in future episodes, likely. The feds leave with the weapon, but not the part of it that makes it do anything.

On the next CSI: Vegas, there was a broken body, someone is sorry, and there was not a good surprise. Are there often good surprises in crime shows? It probably doesn’t happen much, if at all. If there are in this show or any like it, we’ll have to wait and see to find it. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 4

Something that I’m wondering about this season is how many episodes will be in it? I won’t know for sure just how many episodes of this show there will be and thus how much I will be blogging about it. I guess that I will see for sure later. I just hope that I know for sure to be better prepared.

The last of the America Rock songs is called Presidential Minute. I might as well share it to finish out the collection of these songs even if I never started at the beginning, only seeking to finish out the rest of them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWe__25nzAE

Continuing with the bosses of Ocarina of Time, we get to Morpha, the boss of the water temple. The video makes the boss seem very easy. I wouldn’t know as I have not made it that far.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q64mKARo9Qw

In this old Madam Secretary blog post, I mention awaiting the Thanksgiving time period and making use of what I could of it. I talk about possible uncertainty or, I should say, inaccuracies, regarding 2016 polling, but will have to look that up if I care. I know that the 2020 polling wasn’t as inaccurate as people thought it was since only two states were wrong with senate races and much wasn’t wrong with the polling of the presidential race than either. And the gubernatorial races were 100% right.

I also talk about cheats for updating blogs. It started in my TV blog, moved to my Madam Secretary blog, then back to TV blog, then back to Madam Secretary blog, then the Good Fight blog, then Elementary blog, then TV blog, then Madam Secretary blog, and is now back in my Good Fight blog. I also talk about election countdowns. It is now 19 days until the 2022 midterms. I’ll have to update you soon about other of the countdowns as well.

https://adamdeckermadamsecretaryblog.blogspot.com/2017/03/episode-from-11-13-2016.html

Movie update: On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, I was busy with a vacation so I was not able to see movies then. On Tuesday, I wasn’t sure at first whether or not I should see a movie or watch shows on my laptop. It worked out better for me to see a movie so I watched Back to the Future part 2 and replaced it with Back to the Future part 3. On Wednesday, I watched the rest of Back to the Future part 2 instead of any movie from Wednesday’s list. On Thursday, I had to get caught up on laptop shows so I watched that instead of a movie.

The first part has what seems to be a person holding others at gunpoint or otherwise terrorizing them. Catherine leaves a message for someone and is called into a crime scene. It seems that nearly everyone has died outside of a baby that might have just been born? She confirms the bad news to law enforcement outside. This will be a long case for them to investigate.

The second part has Catherine giving orders to others before going into the house where the people lay dead with a woman named Penny being brought into this place with Catherine running through what happened. Penny seems to be really nervous. Or she could be guilty of something. I can’t tell for sure, but it is likely one or the other. There is a bloody hand print on the wall. At least it isn’t a bloody smiley face. But I think that Red John was taken out.

Penny throws up but finds more evidence at the crime scene outside. She also finds notes about what is going on relating to a robbery, but it could be personal or overkill. I only remember overkill from Final Fantasy X. My brother did that to both forms of Braska’s final aeon.

The third part Catherine talks to a person who I think is the mother of the dead mom. This woman dismisses Catherine and other things for now. Penny doesn’t want to work this job at all. Catherine says that this job will make a person feel uneasy all the time if one is to remain human. Allie notices that the killer left his fingerprints there at the crime scene as the blood is that of the pregnant woman.

It is possible that the killer is leaving messages for them. It could be a cry for help. It is possible that he wants to be caught. The killer might not have fired the weapon or was inexperienced with it in some way. The team talks to a man with a mustache who talks about having sold weapons, but wasn’t telling much about them. He is under house arrest or was at the time. He is also potentially liable of the crime.

Maxine gets a swab from the baby as she arrives, still in a cast, to deliver this evidence to Catherine and others. It is revealed that the pregnant woman is a surrogate. They think that a man and woman, one of them the biological mother, are responsible. They also learn of a new crime scene with the same MO. It seems that the family there might be the killers of the first group of people. Who killed them?

The fourth part has Catherine talking about her daughter Lindsay. Lindsay isn’t returning texts at all or doing anything like that. Maxine orders Catherine to take a break for a few hours. Penny finds another bloody handprint. Meanwhile, Lindsay and Catherine talk to each other. It turns out that Lindsay is a camgirl now. They do have some disagreements about how to live their lives. It turns out that Catherine was a stripper at one point. Did the original show focus on that at all? And how were they able to make contact if Lindsay blocked her mother? And why would a family member block another’s phone number anyways?

Penny seems to be going too hard into this case but after a crime scene montage, she is able to find important info relating to the case. There is a random man in a photo who connects to the mustached man from earlier. He says that he’s the father and that Juliet was important. Juliet was the pregnant woman. Lucia is the biological mother. There are two sisters of hers who are twins. They find Lucia holding a person hostage. Catherine takes control of this. She wants people to clear out of the place where they are at.

The fifth part has Catherine trying to negotiate Lucia who is holding her sister hostage and this sister might be injured. She had left baby koalas. It is Darcy that is being held hostage. I don’t understand a lot of this, other than that Lucia seems psychotic. Catherine yammers on about a lot of things. She just wanted someone to love.

There is a fight for the weapon as Catherine is able to subdue the suspect. Lucia is arrested. We hear the song Fields of Gold in the background. Is this closing montage making this show too much like Flashpoint or Cold Case? Maybe too many crime shows end this way. Penny was correct in thinking that this was a cry for help. Catherine gets emotional dealing with the baby that is still there. Who gets custody and whose baby is that? I’m confused and we might never know.

On the next CSI: Vegas, there are three deaths at the same place at the same time as they seek to find out what caused this and why. I guess that we will find out in the next episode what will happen. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 3

I’ve had two major issues with my laptop that shouldn’t be much of an issue, but are still enough of one to point out. One is that it sometimes suddenly freezes. I then have to reset it and it takes a while with me having to redo work I was in the middle of. The other is that the internet doesn’t always work as I randomly get disconnected at times for no good reason. It doesn’t always reconnect. I am wondering if both of these issues relate to me putting the laptop to sleep instead of constantly using it or turning it off and then back on.

There were more special subsets of the America rock part of Schoolhouse Rock that I have not yet gotten into yet. I might as well get to the one about the Electoral College called I’m Gonna Send Your Vote to College.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByiogRyb6Ds

Now getting to the next boss from Ocarina of Time, we get to Volvagia, the boss of the fire temple. I am amazed based on the animation how you aren’t damaged at one point in the lead up to the fight.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXQHd3T66TM

Now I’m going to mention some characters from NCIS: New Orleans. This was the only time that I was rooting for two characters to have sex before this show. I wanted Chris and Meredith Brody to have sex. But they never wound up together. She was written off of the series with Sonja Percy getting a manufactured romance with Chris that also didn’t go much anywhere until she was written off the show. Chris was ultimately killed off at one point. My only consolation is that both of the women appeared in at least one sex scene with different men.

Movie update: I’ve decided that it is in my best interest for now to tell you about the movies that I watch in this blog now instead of my blog on Survivor. You will have to read the post on Borneo published right after the 43rd season is done being written about to get caught up on some of the list. For now, I will tell you how the list is currently set up.

Here’s how the movie list currently stands right now. Tuesday’s list is Back to the Future part 2, Celtic Woman: Destiny, Fireproof, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and One Night with the King. Wednesday’s list is Bean: the Movie, Despicable Me 2, Ice Age, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Star Wars: The Emperor Strikes Back, and Worship Dance. Thursday’s list is Adventures in Babysitting, Beauty and the Beast, The Great Race, Mr. Bean’s Holiday, Popeye, and Toy Story 3. Saturday’s list is Avatar, The Best Years of Our Lives, Finding Nemo, Madagascar 3 with commentary, Pleasantville, and The Sound of Music. Sunday’s list is Baby Boom, A Few Good Men, Liar Liar, Runaway Bride, Vantage Point, and A Wrinkle in Time. Monday’s list is American Dreamz, crossover tape, Johnny English Reborn with commentary, Nature Documentaries, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood.

On Tuesday, I watched Celtic Woman: Destiny. I have this link up with my Madam Secretary blog from watching that concert onward in whatever blog has the movie updates in it. I wanted to put those updates in this blog. It is in my best interest to do that this time. Enjoy where I left off doing that in my Survivor blog.

https://adamdeckermadamsecretaryblog.blogspot.com/2017/03/episode-from-11-6-2016.html

I replaced that with The Emperor’s New Groove. On Wednesday, I was busy getting caught up on shows on my laptop so I didn’t see a movie from that list then. On Thursday, I watched Beauty and the Beast. I replaced that with Bambi.

The first part has people thinking that a woman is dead. We then get to a sex scene or pre sex scene with Josh and his fuckbuddy, I mean, girlfriend. They don’t hook up because he is called into a crime scene. Those always happen at the worst time, am I right? Maxine is the lady who’s feeling alright. Thanks to the power of Kid Dynamite! I mean, the lady investigating the crime scene. Most, if not all, of the team is there. There is blood on her chest. Maybe the baby was teething really early. They have to find the trail that the killer left.

The second part had more investigations of the dead woman, Mindy. Maybe she was too inquisitive. She kept asking why and had to be offed as a result. These people wouldn’t answer her questions like these people would:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR-qdjtyYyc

Mindy’s sister (I think) wasn’t told by Mindy that she was going to their mom’s house. There was something on the bullet that they found. They think that a monster truck might have hit her. Are they sure that it wasn’t Will Smith? He’s been known to hit. Serena is a new CSI which is making Allie a bit weird. Is she the person that’s having sex with Josh? I can’t tell, but I think so. Chris was talking to Allie about her.

Allie wants everyone to know and confess that she’s the queen of jigsaw puzzles. I heard that Saw can be a huge problem for people. But I haven’t yet seen any of those movies. While talking to suspect #1, they have to figure out how a broken headlight got into either Mindy or her car. He claims that it was an accident and that she was already dead. He plays a recording with her calling for help after she was shot. This man is (or was) her husband. It is a bigger search area than they thought.

The third part has the team doing weapon testing over what was done potentially at the crime scene. They talk to a group of teens. There is a disagreement over whether there were fireworks or gunshots. There is almost a fight over this. That wasn’t that long of a segment. Maxine was shot.

The fourth part has people taking her to the hospital before we finally get to Catherine in this episode. Josh thinks that it was his fault since he was preoccupied, I think. Catherine wants to make sure that he doesn’t blame himself for what isn’t his fault. Josh takes charge of the group. Chris and Allie find more information. Allie and Catherine talk to suspect #2 who didn’t seem to care at first that she was being questioned for murder.

Beau (who isn’t named Bo as I said before) needs water to help uncover part of the crime scene. They go to a construction site to tear it apart for potential evidence. Maybe they will find Jimma Hoffa. Or maybe no one ever will. I think that they find something, but I can’t tell yet what.

The fifth part has more stuff being investigated as usual. Maxine is recovering well and will be okay. Meanwhile, Josh is still upset at his perceived failure. He figures out more about what was going on. Mindy’s death was an accident. Allie finds a missing piece. It better not be from Autism Speaks. I hate them. Allie thinks that Cache, one of the teens who was bullied from the other kids, shot above these other kids which lead to the accidental death of Mindy. His foster mother, suspect #2, shot Maxine as she was cleaning up the crime scene.

Mindy’s husband didn’t like being considered a suspect. But he was still partly responsible for her death even as he isn’t guilty of anything outside of failure to report a crime. There is then a scene that I think relates to the recurring missing person case that we haven’t seen much of on this episode outside of this part now. Josh is still upset that he wasn’t there. He makes amends in the hospital.

On the next CSI: Vegas, there was not just a kill. There was an overkill. And that’s about all that I can get from the promo. I wonder why promos suck so much. There can be more gathered from them than we get. Oh, well. This is probably what we will always get. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 2

I mentioned last year that I was doing a Christmas boycott, as I call it, of the website of Amazon. I typically do this where I don’t do something from when they air the first Christmas commercial of the year until the end of the year. While it was harder to do Christmas shopping without using the Amazon website for the rest of the year, I did manage to do it. And then an Amazon facility was stuck by a tornado. It made me feel guilty and now I won’t do a boycott the next time should it be Amazon again.

This year, the boycott is of The World Cup. It aired the first Christmas commercial of the year this year, barely beating out Amazon. I don’t watch it anyways. This will be an easy one to give up. Of course, there are potential problematic Christmas boycott possibilities. One would be Google which I rely on to blog and email. I would scale back my use of it and not do some blogs, but would still use it. Another one would be YouTube. I normally use it to post Christmas videos on facebook during December, but wouldn’t do that if that were to happen and am unsure if I could give it all up for that long. This is a site that I have boycotted once before. The other problem would be Wal-Mart as I still use it some, even as I want to give it up.

Continuing on to more of America Rock, the next video to share of it would be called Three Ring Government, which explains the way American government works. It is not the last of the America rock video as two of them came much later.

Continuing on to more of the Ocarina of Time bosses, I was kind of annoyed that after kid Link does what are affectively a grass, fire, and water dungeon, that the next three dungeons that adult Link does are affectively also a grass, fire, and water dungeon. It is in the Forest Temple that one faces Phantom Ganon.

This type of fighting where you do the ball of light hit back and forth between him and the boss is done a lot more throughout the whole series of Legend of Zelda including later in the game and both as part of the final boss in Twilight Princess and in The Wind Waker. It is just a bit dumb that the boss would take a break from bouncing it back and forth to you in order to get hit, but that has to happen in order for you to win the fight.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mpD0xXqRg8

Still thinking more about the show, you still might be wondering if I’m wanting Allie and Josh to have sex at some point in time. The answer is still yes. I will get to the only other characters that I have ever wanted to have sex before in the next post of this blog, I hope, when I get to covering it in the next episode that I cover.

The first part has people finding a body in a mannequin at a haunted house. The team is sent to investigate the death of “Fred” and a man named Jean is at the crime scene acting very strange. Catherine is not allowed at the casino she used to be a part of. She is escorted out, but the woman doing this wants to help her.

The second part has Jean talking to the police there. He cannot go outside during the day as he has a condition that prevents this. He gets angry talking about this as he doesn’t like being labeled a suspect. Catherine looks more into her case. There are two new people in the ME office, a brother and sister team. The brother is the assistant. I guess that he’s learned by now what he has to be at this point in life. The team looks for missing people around this time and find the likely victim.

The third part has people talking to the widow of the victim, Tim. There were issues between Tim and the owners of the haunted house. There is paint related to the case. It seems that Bo had a massive screw up that Allie has to help him overcome. She was too hard on him at some point in time. Meanwhile, Josh isn’t hard on her, if you know what I mean. There were 57 coats of paint put on Tim’s body. That might be why he was very realistic as a mannequin. But how did his real body show through?

The team goes back to the haunted house which is somehow still in operation. They find a lot of paint behind a wall and find where Tim was both painted and first killed. I guess that the plot just thickened.

The fourth part has more evidence found in the case at hand. An eyelash was found that lead to Jean being arrested. He snuck into the employee only section of the haunted house at times. Meanwhile, Catherine is looking for evidence. There are a lot of blue flags and also some red flags as well. She thinks that the body was moved that they are looking for. They are convinced that this woman is dead.

Allie can’t find a murder weapon. When given the hint of pieces, she looks further and finds what seems to be what they are looking for. She tagged the fingerprints under a florescent light, it seems. There is nothing that they can link to Jean. Allie is worried that he will get out while Maxine was worried back when he was arrested just how this could potentially piss him off.

The fifth part still has Allie obsessing over the doll of possibly her that lead to Jean getting arrested. Back at a crime scene, they find shoes that prove that Bo did not screw up at all, at least fully. What would you call that style of music that happens with the crime scene montages anyways? It turns out that someone that I did not fully understand how they played a role in this episode earlier is responsible.

This man was having sex with Tim’s fiancée. Tim went to the haunted house which leads to the confrontation that killed him. His fiancée is also arrested for being an accessory after the fact. Catherine is called by Jodi, the woman from earlier who wants to help Catherine. Grace is likely dead. Jodi knows a lot, but won’t reveal much. There is then a confrontation between Jean, who lost his job and will lose his residence. It seems more cordial than it probably should be. But there is still a lot of animosity between Jean and Allie as he parts with this doll and creepy music plays.

On the next CSI: Vegas, someone was found dead in their car. Killers always leave a trail. And I can’t tell yet what all else might happen for sure. What I do know is that I need way more sleep than I’m getting and this is even with a nap today. I hope to be back soon with more of the show. Just know that the next blog post will be on a Sunday after the episode airs as I won’t be able to post about it the day of the episode as next week Thursday will be yielded to another blog for hopefully the only time this season, depending on how long the season lasts this year. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 1

There are a lot of things that happened off camera between seasons. I don’t have that bad thoughts yet on Gil leaving, but I hope that they handle it will. I haven’t seen the between season spoilers and am just waiting for the episode to air to see what happens and I can talk about that in the next episode’s post or even in this one. I do remember just how terribly the departure of Ray was handled on the original CSI. I also think that it is unknown if David or Jim will be seen again. Jim was only there in the beginning as a catalyst. David’s story is probably over. Sara is also gone again and the character of Hugo has left as well after barely having anything happen with his character last season.

I have no idea if you went to either my blog on CSI: Cyber during the offseason like I told you do or if you are following former cast members of this show that I put in my blog on Elementary. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t. Do know that this blog will be on Thursdays most of the time? You do now.

I am bringing this up because of various things addressed in that blog that I can now follow up on in this blog in ways that I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. I am going to share YouTube links relating to shows I watched from my CSI: Cyber blog that are dead to me now, mainly Ordinary Joe and Mr. Mayor. I also shared the video that CinemaSins did on F9. I’m going to start by sharing a sort of continuation to that CinemaSins video, one of the bloopers as they are called.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAxcEMLWJS4

Now if you know about Ordinary Joe, you would know that it was set in three different timelines based on a decision in the protagonist’s life. I wondered what would be a good theme for what could replace it. There were three different tints to each of the realities. One was red, another green, and the third blue. This made me think of the jewels that you get in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. All that you have to do to get the three jewels are beat the first three bosses of the game.

The first boss is Gohma, which was also used later as the first boss of The Wind Waker in addition to appearing elsewhere throughout the series. You face this boss inside the Deku tree.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9ai7o4QoDk

The second boss is King Dodongo which you face in the appropriately named Dodongo Cavern where you face against many dodongos throughout your time in the dungeon. It is weird that bombs would be used against a fire based boss.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnN72COkoMQ

The third boss that you face in the game (and the last one as kid Link) is Barinade. This boss has some electrical elements to it as a lot of the enemies in Jabu Jabu’s belly do. It is part of the theme of some of the Zelda series as originally in the dungeon that you are in, you face an enemy that you can only kill by also hurting yourself. But then you get an item in the dungeon that makes killing these enemies much easier and possible without also harming yourself.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JP6Ge5LU-YI

Switching to the show Mr. Mayor, it was kind of lucky that I was only able to see four episodes of this in the end. Since it was a political show, the thing that makes the most sense to replace it is the most well known part of Schoolhouse Rock, the song I’m Just a Bill.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgVKvqTItto

I had mentioned at one point in my CSI: Cyber blog that I would go back to the first mention of Ordinary Joe back in the cast update from August of 2021 and then try to phase out or cancel certain parts of the blog going forward from there. That hasn’t happened yet. I now have to go back even further to when Mr. Mayor was first mentioned as well since that was in the blog sooner. I plan to go back to look at old posts like I do in other blogs of mine so I might just wait until it works out there. Now let’s get to today’s episode.

The first part has a weird monologue going on at first by Maxine. Work seems to stop a sex scene before it can start. We get to Catherine returning. This is who Maxine is talking to. Catherine is coming back out of retirement. She was kicked off the board of the casino that she worked at. Maxine knows that Catherine is keeping something from her, but we don’t know what yet. Catherine admits that it is true.

We arrive at the crime scene with music playing in the background that people get to investigate. We see what the killer did to this place. I can’t quite tell. Wasn’t there supposed to be a room of white or something like that?

The second part has people still at the crime scene, investigating what was going on there. Other detectives (who detect!) talk to a Hispanic woman. She must be one of the witnesses. Catherine talks to Bo, a new character, who is talking about all of the mirrors in the room. He can get rid of them without getting rid of the evidence. There is a lot of blood in there. Also, the pandemic happened in this show, but, like every show, it is set post pandemic which still hasn’t happened yet.

It appears that the room that they were at was a sex dungeon. I wonder what that would be like in a video game. I wouldn’t ever play a game like that, mind you. And it is revealed that Gil and Sara are on a boat around the Arctic Circle. Maybe they want to help Benjamin Gates find a National Treasure?

Catherine asks about molecular map making. MMM. That sounds like a sex noise. Well, maybe. I wouldn’t know for sure. It seems as if this woman was murdered twice. You know, someone in the movie Gosford Park was killed twice. I don’t recommend that movie. I mean, if you are over halfway through a murder mystery and still haven’t gotten to the murder, then what is the point and why are you watching it?

The third part has Allie returning from LA. She isn’t going back as she will finish up her class online. But what went wrong exactly? Looking closer at the crime scene has people realizing that the victim might have fallen onto an already existing blood stain. One can get careers in BDSM? The victim was hurt in many ways. She was abused and then given electro shock therapy. This woman that Maxine talks to thinks that this killer is going to kill again.

More suspects are talked to. One is an older white guy. The second is a black guy. The third is a middle aged white guy. The fourth is a black haired white guy. We need names of these people since one of them is likely the killer. Josh has been with a woman named Serena for four months now. How did Allie know about this? I can’t catch all of the rest of this part.

The fourth part has the team looking at the backyard of a dominatrix’s house. They don’t know what is and isn’t normal to find there. Catherine gets distracted by a woman named Grace. The team investigates the case back at the lab. It turns out that suspect number 4 from earlier was scratching his arm and that could mean that he is guilty of something of some sort or another. Dum dum DUM! They figure out somehow where this guy is, but he gets away, leaving behind blood on a tissue.

The fifth part has the people talking to a black guy while trying to understand why he also has marks on his head like the victim. There were mirrors in this place as he tries to understand what “therapy” he might have been through. There was something rotten that was dropped. The possible and likely killer wound up in a hospital. He gets wise and takes a hostage. His name is Alan? He goes on a crazy rant as psychos are known for doing. He does surrender. Momma’s alright. Daddy’s alright. He is taken into custody. Meanwhile, Josh goes back to his either girlfriend or fuck buddy. Grace is talked about some as this woman is missing and nobody is looking for her. It seems that Catherine thinks that they are covering something up there.

On the next CSI: Vegas, there is a painted man, someone loves what they did, and why would someone do this? Can someone ever truly understand a psychopath? I guess that we will see what happens, if we’ll go back more into this cliffhanger from the last season (they better), and how Grace ties into this. There’s a lot to look forward to. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Season 2 Episode 16

Since I mentioned the show 9-1-1 in a previous post, I might as well mention the Monday shows that I watch. This will cover things that aire...
