As we get to the end of this season already, I’m wondering about the future of this franchise and unlikelihood of a season 2 renewal. I know that TV Grim Reaper does not have this as likely cancelled yet. They have it as likely renewal. We’ll see which one of us winds up being right. I’ll have to check a news source that I saw on imdb that covered more of this franchise and what would happen.
Note
that other blogs will be affected by this one, but largely just CSI: Cyber blog
for now. There will be two potential things happening with this blog in the
future. It all depends on whether or not it gets renewed. I will be giving this
blog’s timeslot if you will to CSI: Cyber. I will share a link to that blog
again at the end of this post since I will be putting updates about this blog
in that blog with it taking over in a way until I know more about what will
happen here and if this show is coming back.
Note
that Good Sam is replacing this. I’m trying to juggle my blogs around and
having a harder time at it than the CW has had with their schedules recently.
Note that I will go back to sharing some of what shows replaced what, something
that I had found to be outdated due to covid. But I won’t be doing too much
with that.
Another
thing to talk about is just how good I find this series to be. If this is the
series finale like I think that it might be, then it looks like they saved the
best episode for last. I can only hope that it ends well regardless of if it
comes back again for a season 2 or even more than that.
The
first part has the news talking about David’s confession that has infuriated
many. The team is convinced that he was taken. A lot of twists can be expected
in this episode in the end. Just don’t go too crazy. Allie wonders if David is
still alive. Maxine is convinced that David’s confession is false. If David
took the deal, it would have ruined the plan of Wix. Maxine isn’t reinstated,
but she is given temporary access and demands her chair back.
Hugo
finds something curious while looking through the crime scene. He thinks that
there are hairs and there could be a clue left for them. The clue is tin, but
maybe he meant to write more than that. We see a person named Tiny being talked
to. David is alive, but in bad shape. Tiny is convinced that a lack of evidence
will win the day. He must be a Republican. It seems that David might be
tortured more some.
The
second part has Gilmerro being worked on in autopsy. He was bound, had his
tongue cut out, and executed. He was in the trunk of a car and was trying to
get away using his mouth as that’s all he could use. The rest of the team finds
someone who goes by Tiny. I hope that they make the link. They do. That’s a
relief. It turns out that the first name of Wix is Ansen. That’s kind of like
Ansom, the main villain of Kingdom Hearts 1. Tiny is brought into
interrogation. His shoe is being investigated in some way, shape, or form.
They
think that Tiny is an accomplice. I know that a scarf was once sent to jail due
to the person wearing it committing murder. The scarf was charged as an
accessory. They think that they can get more of what’s going on with David
relating to this. We then see people with a car since it was what Gilmerro was
talking about. Ansen talks to Gil and he is able to get possible evidence into
what’s going on. Ansen is the typical cocky villain who like many various
characters of all types of good or bad says to the person on the phone that he
has to call them back. Gil points out that the littlest thing can change things
in a case.
The
third part has Gil talking about the drugs that are going on with some sort of
gambling going on. They think that David might be at a hotel, which isn’t that
much of a choice as to where he might be just yet. There is some welding going
on. As long as you aren’t a bear, you should be fine. I just hope that he
believes you even if it is a lie. Still, you have to fight this boss and turn
off the fan somehow to get a jiggy.
Allie
talks to Josh about her boyfriend Mark. But they get distracted by the case and
more clues coming forth in it. It is a lighter that they find. They find a link
to a woman named Tiffany who is a stripper and possible hooker. The team looks
through one of the hotels where it is likely David might be.
Meanwhile,
Ansen has his trial with the civil cases, playing the footage of David
confessing. Tiffany admits that she used to date Tiny as recently as a week
ago. But maybe Tiny wouldn’t pleasure her. Also, did it take too long for there
to be strippers in this show? Tiny is found. He must have been sticking out
where they knew to look. David tries to help himself escape. Tiny is being
chased. The judge decides to lift the stay on the civil trial. It seems that
Tiny dies before revealing key info. I always hate it when that happens.
The
fourth part has Josh talking to Allie about what happened. She is convinced
that Tiny was going to tell her more about what was going on. One of them got
away. They need evidence that Ansen was in that car as they are back to square
one. They might have found something that could work.
Anna,
Ansen’s sister, has Huntington’s disease and it is enough evidence to arrest
Ansen, but not yet convict him. They find more evidence in the car as a lot of
what was going on links back to him. He tells Gil good luck following the evidence.
That seems like Ansen is asking for trouble.
The
fifth part has Maxine making a potential breakthrough with the case. She does
not know what might be going on as they find a potential empty casino where
they might be able to find David. There is a way that they can find David in
room 208, the only room that they can’t reach via an emergency switchboard. He
is found alive and week. Ansen is still in jail with Gil and Sara saying that
they found David. Gil gives details about how the best story wins and Ansen is
likely to go to jail.
David
looks like he is recovering okay. Allie finds something, but I can’t quite
understand that. It might lead back to Josh in some way? It seems like we end
with a montage. But there is a last minute cliffhanger of a potential serial
killer in Las Vegas. What is going on there?
I
can only hope that this isn’t the end as I would be bothered by this last scene
that they could have cut out of the end. This isn’t the type of cliffhanger
that I would be okay with them ending the series on. If they took out that
ending, then I wouldn’t mind anything else that would be going on with it.
Note
that everything relating to this blog will be in my CSI: Vegas blog for now. I
will not be doing cast updates with it as I would end this blog if this show is
over for good. If there is a second season or, possibly, some other CSI show,
then I probably won’t be doing much else until the show returns and I see
what’s going on with that. So as for any notes on what this blog will be like in
the future, just know that everything will be in that blog so go to this link:
https://adamdeckercsicyber.blogspot.com/
There’s
not much else to say in this post as I end it here. I won’t even be doing a
send off post if there is no second season or replacement CSI show. I don’t
know why they would do a completely different show, but that is for my other
blog to talk about. I was a bit confused by some links that I saw about it, but
didn’t have time to read at the moment when I looked it up. I hope to find more
there and you’ll see about it there in my other blog. For now, this is Adam
Decker, signing off.
